Electronics/Electronics & Communication – candidates must have a three year diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution. Applicants for the Electrical position should have three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. There is a Pass Class specified in the prescribed qualification.
Apart from the Diploma qualification, candidates should have completed 15 years of service in the IAF and must have the rank of JWO and above. Relevant experience in the technical field is also required.
BEL Senior Assistant Engineer Age Criteria
The age limit is calculated as of 1st August 2026. The age limit for general category candidates is up to 50 years, and for OBC-NCL and SC/ST candidates, the age limit is 53 and 55 years respectively.
The applicable provisions of the Government of India are applicable to PwBD candidates. The relaxation is allowed as per the rule for OBC-NCL, 3 years, SC/ST, 5 years, PwBD, 10 years.
