Bengaluru and Noida together have 483 posts. That is nearly half of the whole drive. Pune is third.

The age limit is different for each post. A fresher gets 30 years. A Project Manager can be 56.

Relaxation is as per Government of India rules. SC and ST candidates get 5 years. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) get 3 years. Government employees also get 5 years. PwBD candidates and Ex-Servicemen are covered too.

Qualification Needed for CDAC Posts

There is no single qualification. Each post has its own. The percentage and experience also change from post to post.

• Project Associate: B.E./B.Tech, or a relevant PG degree.
• Project Engineer: B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc. or an equivalent degree.
• Senior Project Engineer or Module Lead: the same degrees, with experience.
• Project Leader or Project Manager: a technical degree. A PhD is asked for in some cases.
• Project Officer: a postgraduate, technical or professional qualification.
• Support and other posts: graduation, diploma or whatever the post asks for.

Degrees should generally come from AICTE/UGC-approved or recognised institutions. Read your own post's advertisement. A general summary is not enough here.

The form is on the C-DAC careers portal. Keep the resume and photograph ready before starting.

1. Open the official recruitment portal.
2. Choose the post.
3. Click Apply.
4. Log in with the mobile number and enter the OTP.
5. Fill in personal, educational and experience details.
6. Upload a recent photograph in JPG.
7. Upload the resume in PDF.
8. Go through every entry once more.

Contract Terms

Nobody gets a permanent job here. The posts are on contract. The first term runs up to three years. If the project finishes earlier, the term finishes with it.

After that, extension is possible. C-DAC looks at two things, the candidate's work and whether the project still has work left.

A selected candidate may not stay at one desk. C-DAC can move people between projects, and sometimes between locations. Candidates already in a government body or PSU should sort out the NOC first, or apply through proper channel. Last point, and an easy one to forget: keep the mobile number and email ID active.
