The announcement is significant for candidates who applied for Assistant Executive Engineer and Assistant Environmental Engineer positions.
The examination schedule has been released on 28-09-2026, the Assistant Environmental Engineer exam is to be held on 26-10-2026, and the TSPSC AEE Civil Exam will be held on 06-11-2026 to 07-11-2026. The exams will be computer-based (CBT).

Applicants are advised that for each post they apply for, they need to satisfy the qualification and age criteria as stipulated in the post.
AEE Civil requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Applicants seeking to be appointed for AEE Electrical must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Requirements for the Assistant Environmental Engineer position are specified Bachelor's Degrees in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Biotechnology, Mining or Environmental Engineering. TSPSC AEE Syllabus 2026: What to Focus on?
The TSPSC AEE Syllabus 2026 is divided into two parts, general and technical.
The candidates will have to answer General Studies, current affairs and Mental Ability in Paper I. There should also be regular revision of the important current developments and the general knowledge of Telangana.
Paper II is more deep-seated and requires more preparation as it is based on engineering knowledge. The candidates in Civil, Electrical and Environmental Engineering should study the syllabus that applies to their specific post, not a common engineering syllabus.
The three activities to learn, practise and revise are the three components of a good preparation cycle. Candidates are expected to solve the question/s immediately after reading the topic so that they can ensure that they have applied the concept correctly.
TSPSC AEE Selection Process 2026
Recruitment process consists of an OMR/CBT based written test, document verification and medical exam. This recruitment has no interview stage.
It is advised to candidates that they have their original certificates and other documents (as required) with them for verification and ensure that the information mentioned in the application is in accordance with the official records.
The qualifying marks prescribed is 40% for OC/Sports Persons/EWS, 35% for BC candidates & 30% for SC/ST/PH candidates.
